House Maintenance ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and use your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
What we collect
- Your name, phone number, suburb and job details when you send the quote form or contact us.
- Messages you send us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email.
- Basic, anonymous website data from our hosting provider, such as page visits.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote.
- To book, do and follow up on installations and repairs.
- To keep records we are required to keep by law.
We do not sell your information. We do not send you marketing without your consent.
Our quote form does not store your details on this website. It opens WhatsApp with your message, and WhatsApp handles it under its own privacy policy.
Who we share it with
Only with people who help us do the job, for example a supplier for a product you ordered, and only the details they need.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the job, or as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
